Think about size, shape and control together
Fit is more than a headline length. Read the entire shape and intended use, and keep individual comfort outside a generic size chart.
Clarify each measurement
Identify total length, usable length and width at the widest point. Confirm units and whether a width is a diameter or circumference. A curved or tapered object may need several measurements. A photograph beside a hand cannot establish those details.
Read the control features
Check grip, base, button reach and removal as designed. For anal use, verify a wide base or another retrieval safeguard. Size alone does not establish suitability. Ask for a diagram or manual when the listing leaves important parts of the shape unclear.
Keep comfort individual
No published measurement tells you what your body must tolerate. A product is optional, and external use or a smaller or different design may suit a preference. Stop for pain. Persistent or severe pain needs qualified assessment rather than a more precise shopping calculation.

Have I considered the whole shape and operation instead of one number?
